THE BUTTERFLY WALK 2008 RAISES £7,000 -

THANK YOU!

The 2008 Butterfly Walk around Richmond Park on Sunday 15 June was a great success - and was supported by 50 people.

The sun shone, the rain stayed away and everyone completed the course.  Afterwards we all enjoyed a great picnic under the trees.  Many thanks to everyone who did the walk and to those of their friends who sponsored them - raising £7,000.   It was great to have several of those the Fund has helped over the past couple of years joining the walk - they in turn are helping the Fund to raise money for other youngsters.

You can:

· Go to The Butterfly Walk page on JustGiving - click on 'Raise Money' and then follow the
instructions

· Go to Forms on this site, copy and print off the registration form

· Write to the Fund directly at P O Box 1191, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP15 7WT.

How to get your friends to sponsor you

You can use Just Giving for getting sponsorship by setting up your own page (this is really easy to do) and then emailing the link to your friends.  They can then make their donations online, Just Giving sends the money through to the Fund, claiming Gift Aid, where applicable, on the way.  It really does work!  Or you can still use a traditional sponsorship form (see Forms) and collect the money yourself.

Help us on the day

We will need people to help with registration, act as stewards on the day, first-aiders for any mishaps - let us know if you’d like to help with the organisation.
